Highly iridescent and botryoidal goethite and hematite on an elongate partially-formed quartz crystal from world-famous Graves Mt,, Georgia. As you can see from the pictures, a beautiful smear of vibrant colors cover most of the specimen. It would be hard to think of a color that is not represented on this rock. The occurrence of the white gibbsite makes this an even more desirable specimen. The photographs have not been color enhanced and do not capture the full beauty. The specimen is 6" long by 4" wide by 4" thick with a weight of approximately 2-1/4 pounds.

Highly iridescent and botryoidal goethite and hematite cover a single very large quartz crystal. The specimen was collected at world-famous Graves Mt,, Georgia. As you can see from the pictures, a beautiful smear of vibrant colors cover most of the quartz crystal. The photographs have not been color enhanced and do not capture the full beauty. Large perfectly-formed quartz crystals, such as this one, are very difficult to recover at Graves Mountain. The specimen is 5" long by 3-1/2" wide and weighs approximately 2-1/2 pounds.

The photographs have not been color enhanced and do not capture the full beauty. The specimen is 2-1/4" long by 1" wide of approximately 4 ounces.

Iridescent and botryoidal goethite and hematite on an elongate complete six-sided quartz crystal from world-famous Graves Mt,, Georgia. As you can see from the pictures, a beautiful smear of vibrant colors cover a portion of the specimen. What is especially cool about this one is that is was naturally fractured at its base sometime in the past when the pocket collapsed, but the fracture surface was subsequently coated with hematite. The photographs have not been color enhanced and do not capture the full beauty. The specimen is 1-1/2" long by 1" wide of approximately 3 ounces.
