I had dug into the wall about as far as I could safely reach, so I would have to tear down the upper part of loose material above the pocket in order to see if it continued. Having done more than enough digging for one day, we made our way out by late afternoon, but planned to return on Sunday to see if the pocket continued. Boy, did we enjoy getting picked up and driven back to our vehicle in a golf cart!
