Jim Flora pulled out his handy chisel holder constructed of PVC piping to help break down the travertine boulder. While Jim held the contraption, I was able to wail away on the rock using both hands on my 6-pound crack hammer. We managed to break loose most of the travertine from the boulder and uncovered lots of neat mineral-laden pockets.
